Creative Technologist for Programmatic Video Content

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Creative Technologist to develop a template-driven video content engine. Your primary goal will be to transform structured customer data into polished, cinematic motion content that is rendered programmatically. This role focuses on leveraging code-first media approaches rather than traditional motion design.

Responsibilities

• Build the Content Engine: Design and implement a Remotion (React) template system that converts customer transformation stories from structured JSON data into MP4/WebM formats.
• Craft the Visual Identity: Translate brand guidelines and LED-wall display requirements into a cohesive motion design system, including kinetic typography and animated data visualizations.
• Design the Data Schema: Define the JSON structure for customer story records, ensuring it drives all template compositions effectively.
• Produce Multi-Zone Content: Develop diverse content modes such as full story capsules, headline cards, aggregate impact walls, and logo mosaics.
• Optimize for LED Display: Ensure all outputs meet MiniLED wall specifications regarding resolution, frame rate, color profile, and seamless looping.
• Leverage AI Tooling: Utilize Claude Code and generative AI tools to expedite development and asset generation.
• Batch Render and Deliver: Establish a robust rendering pipeline to regenerate the full video library as needed.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Experience with Remotion or similar programmatic video/animation frameworks.
• Strong visual design sensibility with the ability to translate brand guides into professional motion content.
• Experience building template-driven or data-driven content systems.
• Understanding of video output requirements for large-format displays.
• Comfort with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code or Copilot.
• Strong Git workflow discipline, including clean commits and feature branching.
• Ability to work autonomously with asynchronous communication.

Nice to Have

• Experience producing content for LED walls or large-format displays.
• Background in motion graphics with tools like After Effects or Lottie.
• Experience with generative AI tools for visual asset creation.
• Familiarity with higher education or enterprise SaaS transformation narratives.
• Experience with batch rendering pipelines and automated media workflows.
