Lightning Network-Capable Full-Stack Builder

About the role

We’re looking for a full‑stack builder with hands‑on Lightning Network experience to help prototype a Bitcoin‑enabled payment layer for a new media product. This is a fast‑moving, self‑directed role for someone who can build from scratch, learn quickly, and thrive in rapid iteration cycles.

Responsibilities

• Build and integrate Lightning Network payment flows (LND, LNURL, Lightning Address).
• Prototype backend and frontend features end‑to‑end with minimal oversight.
• Implement metered access, pay‑per‑use logic, and related UX flows.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and user experience across the stack.
• Collaborate in a fast, iterative environment with shifting requirements.

Required Skills

• Experience building with the Lightning Network (LND or Core Lightning).
• Strong full‑stack development skills (Node.js, TypeScript, or similar).
• Ability to architect from scratch and ship quickly.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving specs.

Nice to Have

• Experience with micropayments or payment systems.
• Familiarity with Bitcoin infrastructure tools (LNbits, Alby, Voltage, etc.).
• Basic wireframing or prototyping ability.
