Senior freelance developer

Role Overview

SK Capital Partners is seeking a Senior Freelance Developer to spearhead the creation of foundational data infrastructure for a portfolio company in the industrial/manufacturing sector. This pilot project aims to develop a repeatable playbook that will drive advanced analytics and data-driven value creation across future portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement foundational data infrastructure to support cost accounting and ERP integration.
• Standardize general ledger and financial data structures across various systems.
• Update and integrate legacy ERP systems, specifically DataCore SQL Server.
• Develop robust data models and warehouse schemas to facilitate advanced analytics.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to connect general ledger financials with operational data.
• Ensure scalability and adherence to best practices for future portfolio-wide adoption.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with legacy ERP databases, with a preference for DataCore SQL Server.
• Technical expertise in cost accounting, particularly in linking financial and operational data.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable data warehouse schemas.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Stack, including Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI.
• Must be available to collaborate during standard U.S. business hours.

• Prior involvement in developing data infrastructure for portfolio companies.
