We are seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Automation / Systems Engineer to build efficient, secure systems that support our essential work. This part-time contract role is ideal for someone seeking meaningful technical work alongside their primary position.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure, role-based workflows across Google Workspace and approved third-party tools.
• Automate processes such as intake, document routing, permissions, notifications, and archival to enhance efficiency.
• Strengthen existing workflows to ensure consistent, predictable, and -minded data handling.
• Provide advice on automation design choices focused on reliability and maintainability.
• Perform occasional troubleshooting and implement targeted improvements to optimize systems.

Required Skills

• Experience with Google Workspace, including Drive, Docs, Gmail, Groups, and Apps Script.
• Proficiency in creating secure form and document platforms.
• Knowledge of Google Apps Script and API-based integrations.
• Strong understanding of confidentiality and sound judgment in data handling.
