Role Overview

Join us as a Senior AI Developer to help shape and refine our AI-native platform. Your expertise in OpenAI APIs will be crucial in validating and enhancing our system architecture. We are advancing our Context Hub, built on Postgres, which integrates both structured data (assets, service history, telemetry metadata) and unstructured data (tech notes, manuals, documents). Your role will be pivotal in implementing an AI assistant capable of reasoning over this complex context.

Responsibilities

• Validate and refine our approach to tool calling and orchestration.
• Review prompt and agent structures to ensure they meet our reasoning objectives.
• Identify potential architectural risks and suggest simplifications where applicable.
• Confirm the scalability and extensibility of our AI system design.
• Collaborate with our engineering team, potentially involving hands-on coding to directly impact system implementation.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with the OpenAI API and its applications.
• Proven track record of shipping AI systems into production.
• Strong understanding of MCP server architecture.
• Expertise in tool calling and function orchestration.
• Proficiency in deg prompts for reasoning tasks, beyond simple chat interactions.
