System Architect - Infotainment / HMI

Senior System Architect –HMI & Infotainment

For a start up customer in Gothenburg, we are seeking an experienced System Architect with a strong experience in HMI and infotainment. This role requires a strong technical leader who combines architectural thinking with a hands-on mindset and can collaborate closely with both product and engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and guide system architecture for complex user interface and infotainment solutions
• Take ownership of features across the full lifecycle, from early concept and definition to validation and release
• Ensure alignment between software, hardware, and user experience layers in a distributed development environment
• Contribute to safety-related analyses and ensure solutions are designed with compliance in mind
• Act as a technical reference point for cross-functional teams

Required Experience

• 7+ years working with system-level design within HMI and/or infotainment domains
• Strong understanding of how end-to-end user-facing vehicle features are specified, built, and integrated
• Familiarity with contemporary frameworks and tools used to build embedded user interfaces
• Experience contributing to safety-oriented development processes and assessments aligned with industry standards
