We are looking for an experienced Team Lead & Business Analyst. This assignment suits a consultant who enjoys combining leadership with business analysis and acting as the bridge between business needs and technical delivery. The assignment has a strong focus on cost efficiency and improved operational control.
As a Team Lead & Business Analyst, you will lead a cross-functional team while analyzing business needs to ensure our digital solutions deliver real value.
You combine leadership with business analysis, acting as a bridge between operations and development teams.
Your role is to:
• Ensure the team has clear goals, priorities, and a sustainable way of working.
• Identify and document business requirements, translate them into actionable items, and support the Product Owner in backlog management.
• Drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of learning, transparency, and accountability.
In your role, you work closely with Product Owners, Developers (software, BI, data, integration), Architects, Operations, and business stakeholders. You will help align the work to shared priorities, make delivery visible, and nurture a culture of learning, safety, and accountability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Team Leadership & Delivery
• Lead and coach a cross-functional team towards shared objectives.
• Ensure clear planning, realistic delivery commitments, and early risk visibility.
• Promote collaboration, psychological safety, and continuous improvement.
Business Analysis & Requirements
• Identify business needs and analyze processes.
• Document requirements and user stories in close collaboration with the Product Owner.
• Ensure the backlog is clear, prioritized, and linked to business value.
Stakeholder Management
• Communicate goals, roadmap, and delivery status to stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops for requirement gathering and process improvement.
• Build alignment between technical and operational teams.
Operational Readiness & Quality
• Ensure solutions are deployed with a focus on stability, security, and support readiness.
• Make technical debt and operational risks visible in planning.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Relevant university degree and experience as a Team Lead, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience working with digital products in data, BI, integration, or operational tools.
• Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and practical application.
• Experienced in creating engaging workshops that transform ideas into actionable plans and foster team alignment
• Experience in environments with high operational criticality (logistics, transport, terminals) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with modern delivery practices (CI/CD, DevOps, data governance).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• English is a must, Swedish is preferred.
We are looking for a consultant who can start February 1st, preferably earlier if possible.
The role requires on-site work five days per week at the office in Gothenburg.
