"Internship Opportunity The GIZ-implemented project “Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Economic Development and Employment (E4DE)” is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join its team in Jordan. This internship offers hands-on experience within a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment focused on strengthening Jordan’s entrepreneurship ecosystem, enhancing the enabling environment for entrepreneurs, and promoting sustainable economic development. About the Project On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and with co-financing from the European Union (EU), GIZ is implementing the project Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Economic Development and Employment (E4DE) in Jordan to promote inclusive, sustainable economic growth and job creation. Aligned with Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision 2033 and implemented in close cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MoDEE), the project strengthens the enabling environment for entrepreneurship by building the capacities of public and private ecosystem actors, enhancing entrepreneurship support networks in the governorates, and supporting entrepreneurs—particularly women-led, green, and digital businesses—to access markets and scale their ventures. E4DE provides technical and strategic support to advance entrepreneurship policy implementation and expand employment opportunities across Jordan, with a special focus on structurally weaker regions. Your Role as an Intern The intern will support the project team and the commission manager in operational, coordination, and analytical tasks, gaining practical exposure to policy implementation processes and cross-governmental cooperation mechanisms that contribute to strengthening institutional capacities of ecosystem stakeholders, enhancing entrepreneurship ecosystems in the governorates, and supporting entrepreneurs in accessing markets and expanding business potential. Key Responsibilities Supporting technical advisors in preparing, implementing, and monitoring activities Assisting in event coordination and logistical preparation Supporting the project management in administrative tasks Drafting and editing reports, presentations, and communication materials Supporting documentation and meeting note-taking Supporting data collection, analysis, and record keeping Translating documents (Arabic ↔ English) Formatting and preparing official documents Who We Are Looking For Fresh graduate in a relevant field (Business Administration, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Public Policy, Digital Transformation, Engineering, or related disciplines) Fluent in English and Arabic with English being the working language (German is an asset) Basic understanding of entrepreneurship, economic development, or public policy Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills Ability to work effectively in a multi-stakeholder environment What’s in It for You?
