We are looking for a suitable candidate to fill the below position Job Title: Finance and Administration Officer Job Purpose The Finance and Administration Officer is responsible for supporting the organization’s financial management, administrative operations, and compliance requirements. The role ensures accurate financial records, efficient office administration, and adherence to internal controls, policies, and statutory obligations. Key Responsibilities Finance Responsibilities Prepare and process accounting entries, including payments, receipts, journals, and bank reconciliations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with approved accounting standards and internal policies. Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure monitoring. Ensure timely processing of invoices, staff claims, and statutory payments (taxes, social security, etc.). Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit queries. Monitor cash flow and maintain proper custody of cash and bank instruments. Administration Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day office administration to ensure smooth operations. Manage procurement processes, including requisitions, supplier coordination, and record keeping. Maintain administrative records, contracts, and asset registers. Coordinate logistics, travel arrangements, and office supplies. Support human resource administration, including staff records, onboarding documentation, and leave tracking. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Compliance and Controls Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal control systems. Support compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and statutory requirements. Identify risks and recommend improvements to financial and administrative processes. Coordination and Reporting Liaise with intern
