As countries transition from mass VAS campaigns to integrating VAS into routine health services, ensuring sustained, equitable coverage is critical. Research Intern at XXXX XXXX International (HKI) February 2026 Scope of Position We are seeking for a Research Intern to join our dynamic team in Tanzania and support cuttingedge research on integrating VAS into Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) services. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to both national health outcomes and the global evidence base for VAS delivery in low- and middle-income countries. Position Title: Research Intern Department : Nutrition Duty Station: Mara Duration: 6 Months Functional Relationship The Research Intern reports to Program Manager. Specific Responsibilities The Research Interns will play a key role in supporting the design, implementation, and analysis of research projects related to VAS integration in Tanzania’s health system. Under the supervision of the Country Nutrition lead and Regional Research Manager you will contribute to the development of research tools, data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings. You will also assist in preparing manuscripts for publication to share insights with the broader global health community. Please adjust where necessary. Key Responsibilities
- Research Implementation and Coordination Coordinate ongoing research projects with program staff and implementing partners. Support training and data collection to teams to ensure quality and accuracy. Oversee data management, including the maintenance of databases and data repositories. Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis to assess program performance and identify areas for improvement.
